[Appel à article] social innovation, alternative food networks and sustainable consumption
The call for paper “Prosumers and Social Innovation in Alternative Food Networks” is now live for submissions at the next XIX World Congress ISA to be held in Toronto (July 15-21, 2018), hosted by RC40 Sociology of Agriculture and Food. The session welcomes paper reflecting on the role of social innovation in the relation between consumers and producers, with a special attention devoted to alternative food networks. This session carries on a lively debate started in January 2017 at the first conference of the Italian Society for Economic Sociology (http://sociologia-economica.it/?page_id=32719), which had as outcome a special issue in the Italian journal of Sociology of Work (2018/4), entitled “Pro-sumers on the move: overcoming the line between labour and consumption”. Abstract (1.000 characters) are welcomed for submissions up to 31/12/2017 (only English).
